Nestled in a quiet pastoral valley outside Fredericksburg, we designed this modern farmhouse for a young family of five. We brought in expansive windows to flood the interiors with light, layered sculptural lighting with organic finishes, and balanced clean architecture with a sense of warmth. Thoughtful details both inside and out—from a working butler’s pantry and outdoor kitchen to a guesthouse and native landscaping—make the home both a serene retreat and an ideal place for entertaining.
